With the change of seasons and cooler weather comes the thing that parents dread most...sickness! Yep, It's just that time of year and there is nothing we can do about it or is there? Being prepared for when sickness could hit is one of the best things you can do for your family. It's awful to wake up in the middle of the night to a sick child and not have any of the products you need to help them feel better faster. This cold, flu and virus season we are pleased to be partnering with Hydralyte to help you better prepare.

Did you know if you don't drink enough water when you're sick and become dehydrated, the lack of body water can lead to new or worsening nausea and vomiting? That's why fluid replacement to prevent dehydration is especially important if you are losing body water due to diarrhea because large volumes can be lost in a short period. Hydralyte is scientifically formulated to contain the correct balance of glucose and electrolytes for rapid rehydration. The formulation is based on the World Health Organization criteria for effective rehydration. Water or sugary drinks are not as effective as Hydralyte, as they do not restore lost electrolytes (which retain the fluid).

Additional Hydralyte Details Below:

Hydralyte has been dominating the Australian oral hydration market for more than ten years, and is available now in the United States. Rehydration solutions such as Hydralyte, are a way to combat the effects from dehydration, as water may not always be enough.

Your skin, breath and mood can help tell if you’re dehydrated. The 5 common signs are fatigue, dizziness, bad breath, loss of skin elasticity and irritability.

With up to 75% less sugar and 4X the electrolytes compared to other leading sports drinks, Hydralyte was formulated in accordance with the World Health Organization guidelines for oral rehydration, making all Hydralyte products contain the correct balance of glucose and electrolytes required for rapid rehydration whether your hiking, swimming, running, or enduring a rundown. Hydralyte is also great for kids heading back to school whether they are an athlete, in the marching band, taking P.E. this semester, recovering from the “back to school bug” (cold/flu season) or have to run from class to class to make it before the bell rings.
