Candace Cameron Bure (most famously known as DJ Tanner back in the Full House Days) developed her own Broccoli Sriracha Tuna Bowl using StarKist Tuna Creations BOLD Sriracha.
Broccoli Sriracha Tuna Bowl
Tuna Creations® BOLD Sriracha
Whole wheat rice or cauliflower rice
Steamed broccoli
Shredded carrots
Scallions (optional)
Thai Noodle Bowl
2 – 2.6 oz. pouches StarKist Tuna Creations® BOLD, Thai Style
1 package (7.1oz.) Soba noodles
4 Tbsp. sliced green onions (about 3, white and green parts)
1 cup broccoli, blanched
Soy Ginger Dressing:
1 tsp. grated ginger
2 Tbsp. soy sauce, low sodium
1 Tbsp. sesame oil
½ tsp. honey
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, whisk together ingredients for the dressing.
2. Heat soba noodles according to package directions. Split between 2 bowls.
3. Divide dressing between the bowls and toss with soba noodles to coat.
4. Top with tuna, green onions and broccoli.
Servings: 2
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 1 – 2 minutes
Ingredients:
2 pouches (2.6 oz. each) StarKist Tuna Creations® BOLD, Sriracha
1 package (3 oz.) Ramen noodle soup, flavoring packet discarded
½ avocado, pitted and diced
½ cup shelled edamame
8 oz. coleslaw mix
¼ cup rice wine vinegar
¼ tsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. low sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. diced cilantro
Directions:
In a medium bowl, crush the ramen noodles into small pieces.
Combine with avocado, edamame, coleslaw mix, vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, and vegetable oil. Mix well.
Top with tuna and cilantro and enjoy.
