When you rent or buy a home in a city or town you've always wanted to see, you can take your time and really get to know it, unlike on a typical vacation where you have to rush back to catch your flight home.

This is especially true if they live in a small town where it's hard to get to school. For example, if you live in the country, you might want to move to a place where a great school is just a short walk or bus ride away.
